Zbrush trial no assets software#
I'm very mindful of where I invest money for software, so it's not like $700 is a drop in the bucket either, but come on, seriously just one freelance 3d job will not only pay for a ZBrush license, you'll have enough left over to invest in other software or hardware, or even take a trip.ZBrush’s instant feedback and real-time response makes working within ZBrush feel like real-world sculpting and painting, allowing the artist complete freedom of expression. We are a small independent company and yes, we have an indie budget as well we don't just say "hey let's go out and invest half a million dollars in a new render farm".

I'm not part of some big conglomerate or a massive corporation. I want to also point out, I understand your indie point of view. I think Sculptris is interesting, but I dont think many people use it and it doesn't have the production tools available in ZBrush- there's a reason why ZBrush is the industry's most popular 3d sculpting package, used in the most high profile games, VFX, and film studios on the planet. I'll be honest, just do one freelance 3d job and you can buy several licenses for ZBrush. This is the same software used by artists for games like KillZone, Gears of War, Uncharted, etc., etc.- and it's only $700. That's not a lot of money and is ridiculously affordable and a bargain for what you get. Well you can purchase ZBrush for only $700 right now honestly for the value you get and the capabilities added to your games pipeline, it's not only worth it, it practically pays for itself and then some.
